Requirements
Students may obtain a minor in Persian by taking Persian 101, 102, 201, 202, 301, and 302 or an approved course in Persian literature and/or culture. If 300-level courses are not offered, then other courses can be substituted in consultation with the Persian Language Coordinator and the Director of Undergraduate Studies.
Students with previous knowledge of Persian may obtain a minor in Persian by taking one course at their present level of proficiency, three additional courses above their present level, and one approved course in Persian literature and/or culture. For students completing a major and minor OR two majors in our department, only two courses can be double counted.
